Juniors out in force
Fantastic to see 30 juniors out on the course today. Sixteen in the junior medal (qualifier), eight doing cards for handicap and six Tiger Cubs.
The winner of the medal was Kirsten Murison with a nett 61 (adjusted 59 v boys SSS). Runner up was brother Callum with a nett 62, closely followed by Georgia Ledingham with nett 63. All three achieved significant handicap reductions. The scratch winner was Danny Hendry with a 73.
Tiger Cub player of the week was 8 year old newcomer Daniel Hogg who achieved his Bronze certificate in his first outing. Vice Captain John Hall was on hand (and on his knees) to present Daniel his Tiger Cub putter cover and certificates from the previous event. Well done everyone and thank you to the parents who helped out today.
